Jurisprudence and Ethics: Examining the Practice of Dentistry in Ontario Through an Ethical Lens

Welcome to our Jurisprudence and Ethics course. 

The primary purpose of this course is to educate dentists about:

• How the dental profession is regulated in Ontario
• Current practice norms and standards 
• The ethical and legislative environment in which health professionals work
• Strategies that allow dentists to practice safely throughout their dental career. 

Successful completion of this course is a requirement for most classes of registration in Ontario. 

Current RCDSO members will be directed to the RCDSO Portal to pay for and complete the course.

New applicants and non-members must register and then proceed to sign in to the course.
